This is a very
attractive and lightweight bit. It is well
balanced and easy for a horse to pack. It is a low
leverage cheek similar to the Tom Thumb or Argentine
bit. Excellent
for training a colt or riding on a well broke
horse.
The smaller twisted dogbone adds a lot of "bit"
to this bit. The dogbone applies light pressure to the
tongue and allows the mouthpiece to contact the horses
bars at a new angle for more control. |
